The invention relates to biotechnology, namely to a protective medium for the preservation and long-term storage of a strain of actinomycetes of the genus Streptomyces canosus CNMN-Ac-02.Summary of the invention consists in that the medium comprises, mass %: gelatin 2.5; glucose 7.5; extract of iridoid glycosides obtained from Verbascum phlomoides L. by extraction with 50% ethanol solution 0.0005...0.05 and distilled water the rest.
