It may be used in prognosing risk of intrauterin HIV infection in foetuses during the first six months of pregnancy.The method provides for detection of TNF?, IL2, IL4, IL12?, IL10, INF? mutations in mother blood leukocytes and measuring level of IL2, IL12 cytokines in peripherial blood serum of pregnant HIV infected mother. Izgudrojums attiecas uz medicīnu, konkrēti uz infekcijas slimībām un molekulāri-ģenētiskiem pētījumiem, īpaši uz augļa HIV inficēšanās riska prognozēšanu grūtniecības pirmajos sešos mēnešos. Tiek piedāvāta metode, kurā mātes asins leikocītos tiek noteiktas TNFɑ, IL2, IL4, IL12β, IL10, INFɣ mutācijas, bet mātes asins serumā nosaka interleikīnu IL2, IL12 daudzumu.
