Zusammenfassung:	Photosensitive composition containing a binder which is insoluble in aqueous systems and soluble or at least swellable in aqueous alkaline and organic solvents and a photosensitive compound is characterised in that it is a condensation product of a phenolic compound and a mixture consisting of a 1,2-naphthoquinonediazide-4- sulphonyl chloride (diazo compound 1) and a 1,2-naphthoquinonediazide- 5-sulphonyl chloride (diazo compound 2) in a molar ratio of between 1.5:1 and 39:1. The photosensitive composition according to the invention has an increased solution stability and shelf life. The photosensitivity and image contrast are equal to those of the prior art.
