In order to be able to reduce the horizontal-deviation energy requirement of a three-colour CRT deviator, the line coil is made in such a way that its L DIVIDED R ratio is about 670 microseconds. It can then be used with a tube with a 29 mm neck and a subframe designed for tubes with a 22 mm neck.
