The apparatus equally disperses process-delay time of each channel equivalent to each keyboard to prevent the delay of sound generation when multiple keyboards are pressed simultaneously and frequently. It includes an overlapped value calculator (1) for calculating the process-delay time of each channel, a priority discriminator (2) for selecting the channel of the highest priority, a latching section (3) for latching the signal from the priority discriminator (2), and a timing controller (4) for supplying timing control signal to the priority discriminator (2) and the overlapped value calculator (1).
