According to the present invention, silicone can be mixed with bone cement through a very simple manufacturing method. Due to its heat resistance and low mechanical strength, the addition of silicone can reduce the high polymerization heat and mechanical strength which occur when mixed with bone cement. Accordingly, silicone-mixed bone cement can decrease the risk of various complications associated with vertebroplasty, such as necrosis of surrounding cells and tissues, and adjacent vertebral fractures. In addition, the biocompatible and flowable nature of silicone not only minimizes the impact on surrounding tissues and cells during vertebroplasty but also enhances injectability, and can delay the curing time of bone cement.
