A Method and Apparatus for providing safety-related data for passengers in public transport carriages

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for providing safety-related data for passengers in public transportation passenger cars, which can improve passenger satisfaction and prevent safety accidents. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing safety-related data for passengers in subway passenger cars based on artificial intelligence (AI) comprises: receiving image information related to passengers in subway passenger cars; detecting a passenger danger action or a prescribed object from the image information; and transmitting data related to the passenger danger action or the prescribed object. The passenger danger action includes a violent action or a falling action. The prescribed object corresponds to one among a fallen passenger, passenger congestion, a stroller, and a wheelchair.
