The location determination method comprises the steps of: receiving, by a first terminal, location service attribute information broadcasted by a location service device to determine a location thereof using a tone channel; downloading, from the location service device, information about a location, a tone signal transmission time, and tone signal transmission power of tone transmitters installed at a location service provision location and a map required to use the location service; sensing tone signals transmitted by the tone transmitters and measuring the presence or absence of each tone signal of the tone transmitters and tone signal reception power values; and determining the location thereof from the received power values of each tone signal. Therefore, the first terminal can determine the location thereof simply and efficiently.
