Zusammenfassung:In the present invention, a multiplexer (MUX) and a demultiplexer (DeMUX) can be plugged into and unplugged from the outside of an optical transceiver. Only light source/light receiving devices and optical paths between the devices and MPO are identically present inside the optical transceiver regardless of the type of the optical transceiver. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a pluggable wavelength division multiplex adapter plugged into and unplugged from a multi-channel optical transceiver on the outside of the optical transceiver comprises: a plugging part coupled to the optical transceiver to allow a multi-channel optical signal to pass therethrough; an optical input/output part connected to optical fiber to allow a multi-channel optical signal to pass therethrough; an optical wavelength multiplexer (MUX) multiplexing a multi-channel optical signal received from the optical transceiver through the plugging part to transfer the multi-channel optical signal to the optical input/output part; and an optical wavelength demultiplexer (DeMUX) demultiplexing a multi-channel optical signal received from the optical fiber through the optical input/output part to transfer the multi-channel optical signal to the plugging part. 본 발명에서는 MUX 및 DeMUX를 광트랜시버 외부에 탈부착 가능하도록 구성한다. 광트랜시버 내부에는 그 유형에 상관없이 동일하게 광원/수광 소자 및 이들 소자와 MPO 간의 광경로만 있을 뿐이다. 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따르면, 광트랜시버에 결합되어 다채널 광신호를 통과시키는 착탈부; 광섬유에 연결되어 다채널 광신호를 통과시키는 광입출력부; 상기 착탈부를 통해 광트랜시버로부터 수신한 다채널 광신호를 다중화하여 상기 광입출력부로 전달하는 광파장 다중화기(MUX); 상기 광입출력부를 통해 광섬유로부터 수신한 다채널 광신호를 역다중화하여 상기 착탈부로 전달하는 광파장 역다중화기(DeMUX)를 포함하는, 광트랜시버의 외부에서 광트랜시버에 탈부착 가능한 착탈식 파장다중화 어댑터가 제공된다.
