description The present invention relates to a distance measuring device capable of precise location inference, which can improve the reliability of location estimation by precisely estimating a current location using GPS information measured by two different terminals by applying sensor fusion technology, and furthermore, can accurately measure distance or driving distance by using the precisely estimated current location. The distance measuring device includes: a GPS module for calculating a current location of the distance measuring device; a short-distance wireless communication unit for receiving the current location of a user's mobile terminal; and a controller which accurately infers the current location by arithmetic averaging between the current location of the distance measuring device and the current location of the user's mobile terminal. 본 발명은 위치 정밀 추론이 가능한 거리 측정 장치에 관한 것으로, 센서 융합(Sensor Fusion) 기술을 적용해 상이한 두 단말에 의해 측정되는 GPS 정보를 이용해 현재 위치를 정밀하게 추정함으로써 위치 추정 신뢰성을 향상할 수 있고, 더 나아가 정밀하게 추정된 현재 위치를 이용해 정확하게 거리 또는 비거리를 측정할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
