Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a novel plastic-degrading enzyme and a method for degrading plastics using the same. The plastic-degrading enzyme of the present invention is a novel enzyme different from conventionally known PETases, and has excellent characteristics for the plastic degradation activity for plastics including MHET, BHET, and PET. By using the novel plastic-degrading enzyme, the present invention provides a method capable of degrading plastics with high efficiency. 본 발명은 신규한 플라스틱 분해효소와 이를 이용한 플라스틱의 분해 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 플라스틱 분해효소는 종래 알려졌던 PETase와는 다른 신규한 효소이면서, MHET, BHET, PET 등의 플라스틱을 분해하는 활성이 우수한 특징이 있는바, 본 발명에서는 이를 이용하여,높은 효율로 플라스틱을 분해할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다.
