The present invention relate to a passive cooling system for cooling a battery room of a nuclear power plant. The passive cooling system for cooling a battery room of a nuclear power plant includes: an inner heat transmission body located inside a wall of the battery room and transmitting heat in an inner space of the battery room to the outside of the battery room along a thickness direction of the wall; a plurality of compression air tanks located outside the battery room; a cooling water tank located outside the battery room; and a cooling plate receiving cooling water from the cooling water tank and located on a wall surface of the wall. 본 발명은 원전 배터리룸의 냉각을 위한 피동형 냉각 시스템에 있어서, 상기 배터리룸의 벽체 내부에 위치하며 상기 배터리룸의 내부공간의 열을 상기 벽체의 두께방향을 따라 상기 배터리룸 외부로 전달하는 내부 열전달체; 상기 배터리룸의 외부에 위치하는 복수의 압축공기 탱크; 상기 배터리룸의 외부에 위치하는 냉각수 탱크; 및 상기 냉각수 탱크로부터 냉각수를 공급받으며 상기 벽체의 벽면에 위치하는 냉각판;을 포함하는 원전 배터리룸의 냉각을 위한 피동형 냉각 시스템에 관한 것이다.
