Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an underwater vehicle launch sensing apparatus and a method thereof. The underwater vehicle launch sensing apparatus comprises: a plurality of active acoustic sensors installed on one surface of an underwater vehicle at regular intervals along the extension direction of a launch tube belonging to a mother body; and a launch sensing logic processing unit installed in the underwater vehicle, receiving distance information from the plurality of active acoustic sensors, and comparing the distance information of each of the plurality of active acoustic sensors with a threshold distance to sense whether or not the underwater vehicle departs from the launch tube.
