In accordance with the present invention, the method for manufacturing the shock absorbing pad for artificial turf includes: a material mixing step of mixing thermoplastic resin-based foaming resin with a foaming material including a foaming agent and additives; a hard sheet manufacturing step of extruding the mixture to prepare a hard sheet; a foaming step of foaming the manufactured hard sheet, while making the foaming resin have a specific foaming cell size to manufacture a base foamed body; and a shock absorbing pad completion step of stacking the base foamed body on multiple layers and integrating the layers to complete the shock absorbing pad. 본 발명은 연질 발포플라스틱 재질의 특성상 충격 흡수성과 영구 압축율에서 반비례 관계를 갖는 것을 특정 공정을 통해 이들 모두를 향상시킬 수 있고, 이에 따라 우수한 충격 흡수 성능을 가지며 KS품질기준에 만족시킬 수 있는 인조잔디용 충격 흡수 패드와 그의 제작 방법 및 이에 의해 제작된 인조잔디용 충격 흡수 패드에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 인조잔디용 충격 흡수 패드를 제작하기 위한 방법으로서, 열가소성수지계 발포용 수지와 발포제 및 첨가제를 포함한 발포 원료를 혼합하는 원료 혼합 단계; 상기 혼합된 혼합물을 압출하여 경질 시트를 마련하는 경질시트 제조 단계; 및 상기 제조된 경질 시트를 발포하되, 발포 발포용 수지가 특정의 발포 셀 사이즈(cell size)를 갖도록 발포하여 형성되는 베이스 발포체를 제조하는 발포 단계; 및 상기 베이스 발포체를 복수 층으로 적층하고 일체화하여 충격 흡수 패드를 완성하는 충격흡수패드 완성 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인조잔디용 충격흡수패드 제작 방법이 제공된다.
