본 발명은 연속 주조기 내 금속 스트랜드(1)의 연속 주조를 위한 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 과제는 스트랜드(1) 내 공동부들 또는 균열들의 형성이 방지되도록 공지된 연속 주조 방법을 변경하는 것이다. 이와 같은 과제는 청구항 제 1항에 따른 방법에 의해 해결되며, 이때 상기 스트랜드(1)는 3차 냉각 구역(5) 내에서 단열부(9)에 의해 단열되고 상기 단열부(9)의 열전달계수(U)는 주조 방향(G)으로 증가하도록 조절된다. |
