description According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises a communication module and a processor. The communication module transmits a data packet received from the processor to an external electronic device connected to the electronic device, receives a response packet corresponding to the data packet from the external electronic device, obtains a received signal strength indication (RSSI) of the response packet, and is set to transmit a first packet containing information on the RSSI to the processor when receiving the response packet. The processor is set to check the RSSI of the response packet by using the first packet received from the communication module.
