| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention is to improve electrical characteristics such as a direct current resistance (Rdc) of a coil electronic component. To this end, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the coil electronic component comprises: a body including a plurality of insulating layers and a coil pattern arranged on the insulating layer; and an external electrode formed outside the body to be connected to the coil pattern. The external electrode includes: a first layer composed of an electroless plating layer; and a second layer formed on the first layer and having a metal particle dispersed in a polymer base.
