The present invention relates to a washing pump and a dishwasher comprising the same, which sprays washing water and steam in order to clean dishes and cookware. The washing pump according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a housing; a partition dividing the inner space of the housing in upper and lower sides; an impeller rotationally arranged at an upper side of the partition within the housing to allow the washing water to flow; a heater arranged at a lower side of the partition and heating the washing water within the housing to generate steam; and a steam discharge pipe arranged at an upper side of the partition so as to discharge the steam generated by the heater to the outside. Therefore, steam can be produced by the heater and discharged. 본 발명은 세척수 및 스팀을 분사하여 식기나 조리도구를 세척하는 세척펌프 및 이를 포함하는 식기세척기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 세척펌프는, 하우징과, 하우징 내부 공간을 상하로 나누는 격벽과, 하우징 내부의 격벽 상측에 회전 가능하게 배치되어 세척수를 유동하는 임펠러와, 격벽의 하측에 배치되어 하우징 내부의 세척수를 가열하여 스팀을 생성하는 히터와, 격벽의 상측에 배치되어 히터에 의하여 생성된 스팀을 외부로 배출하는 스팀배출관을 포함하여, 히터에 의하여 스팀이 생성되어 배출될 수 있다.
