According to one embodiment of the present invention, the explosion prevention device comprises: an oxygen concentration sensor (100) installed at the front end of a supply pipe (L1) for supplying a crude synthetic gas to a wet electric precipitator (300) for removing dust and tar in a crude synthetic gas produced in a gasifier to measure an oxygen concentration in the crude synthetic gas; a gas holder (200) installed between the oxygen concentration sensor (100) and the wet electric precipitator (300); a valve (V2) installed between the gas holder (200) and the wet electric precipitator (300); a branch pipe (L3) branched from the front end of the valve (V2); another valve (V3) installed in the branch pipe (L3); and a combustor (400) connected to the branch pipe (L3). 본 발명은 바이오매스 합성가스에 포함된 타르와 분진을 제거하는데 사용되는 습식전기집진기에서 산소농도가 기준치를 초과할 경우 합성가스의 흐름을 우회하여 습식전기집진기 내부에서의 연소 또는 폭발을 방지할 수 있도록 한 것으로, 일 실시 예에서는 가스화기에서 생산된 미정제 합성가스 중의 분진과 타르를 제거하기 위한 습식전기집진기(300)로 미정제 합성가스가 공급되는 공급관(L1)의 전단에 설치되어 미정제 합성가스 중의 산소농도를 측정하는 산소농도센서(100)와, 상기 산소농도센서(100)와 습식전기집진기(300) 사이에 설치되는 가스 홀더(200)와, 상기 가스 홀더(200)와 습식전기집진기(300) 사이에 설치되는 밸브(V2)와, 상기 밸브(V2)의 전단에서 분기되는 분기관(L3)과, 상기 분기관(L3)에 설치되는 또 다른 밸브(V3)와, 상기 분기관(L3)에 연결되는 연소기(400)를 포함하여 이루어진다.
