Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for rehabilitation treatment of dysphagia. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for rehabilitation treatment of dysphagia using a fiber proximity sensor. A pad-type fiber proximity sensor attached to suprahyoid muscles of a neck portion above the hyoid bone of a human is used to detect and analyze the movement of the suprahyoid muscles by the movement of tongue, airway, and neck due to direct and indirect training for dysphagia rehabilitation. The apparatus informs a rehabilitator of the rehabilitation result (feedback) information according to the tongue training.
