Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for improving cognition and memory containing a Cudrania tricuspidata fruit extract, and a health functional food containing the same as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention reduces activities of acetylcholinesterase which is a neurotransmitter decomposing enzyme while increasing activities of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) and cAMP response element binding protein (CREB) which are proteins related with cognition and memory. In addition, the pharmaceutical composition also increases content of acetylcholine as a neurotransmitter in the blood as well as expression and activities of 5′ AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), CREB, and mitochondrial sirtuin 3 (SIRT3) as proteins related with cognitive and memory, thereby improving cognition and memory through expression of genomes related with neurogenesis and neuronal cell differentiation. 본 발명은 꾸지뽕나무(Cudrania tricuspidata)열매 추출물을 함유하는 인지, 기억 증진용 약학적 조성물, 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 건강기능식품에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 약학적 조성물은 신경전달물질 분해효소인 acetylcholinesterase의 활성을 감소시키고, 인지 및 기억 관련 단백질인 ERK와 CREB의 활성을 증가시키고, 혈액에서 신경전달물질인 acetylcholine 함량을 증가시키고, 인지 및 기억 관련 단백질인 AMPK, CREB 및 SIRT3의 발현 및 활성을 증가시키고, neurogenesis 및 neuronal cell differentiation 관련 유전체의 발현을 통해 인지 및 기억 능력을 개선할 수 있다.
