CORE OF TRANSFORMER

An objective of the present invention is to provide a core of a transformer which reduces the magnitude of the magnetostriction of the core without increasing the size of the transformer to reduce the noise of the core. The core of a transformer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an upper yoke, a lower yoke, and at least one leg connected between the upper yoke and the lower yoke. The upper yoke and the lower yoke have a circular cross section or an elliptical cross section whose diameter or major axis is the same as the diameter of the leg. The upper yoke and the lower yoke have a cross-sectional area extension whose part is extended outward. 본 발명은 변압기의 크기를 증대시키지 않고 철심의 자왜현상의 크기를 감소시켜 철심의 소음이 저감된 변압기의 철심을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 변압기의 철심은 상부요크, 하부요크 및 상기 상부요크와 상기 하부요크 간에 연결되는 적어도 하나의 레그를 포함하고, 상기 상부요크 및 상기 하부요크는 지름 또는 장축이 상기 레그의 지름과 동일한 원형 단면 또는 타원형 단면으로 이루어지되, 상기 상부요크 및 상기 하부요크는 단면의 일부가 외측으로 확장된 단면적 확장부를 구비한다.
