description The present invention relates to a multichannel optical module with an improved structure to implement miniaturization and low overall height. The multichannel optical module comprises: an optical block for coupling to a substrate; an optical element transmitting an optical signal to an optical transmission cable or receiving the optical signal from the optical transmission cable; and a support frame to which the optical element is coupled. The optical block includes an insertion groove to which the optical transmission cable is coupled and an accommodation groove in which the optical element is accommodated. The insertion groove is formed in a first axial direction so that the optical transmission cable is arranged parallel to the substrate.
