The data logger according to the present invention comprises a communications mode of an M2M terminal type supporting LTE and USN based on ISA100.11a which is an industrial wireless standard, and thus the data logger can be actively used even in an area where a wireless communications environment is poor. 본 발명은 IoT 기반 플랜트 시설물 원격 모니터링 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 IoT 기반 플랜트 시설물 원격 모니터링 시스템에는 방폭형 데이터 로거가 포함되며, 방폭형 데이터 로거는 방폭 하우징을 구비하고, 방폭 하우징 내부에 센서 인터페이스부와, 센서 인터페이스부, 상기 A/D 컨버터, 상기 무선 통신부, 상기 제어부 및 상기 RTC부 및 전원 공급부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 방폭형 데이터 로거에는 RTC부를 구비하여 각종 센서에서 측정된 데이터와 함께 측정 시간을 함께 송부하여 동기화 처리가 가능하며 또한 온도 및 압력을 센싱함으로써 측정 시각의 주변 환경에 대한 정보를 이용하여 측정 데이터를 적절하게 보정할 수 있게 되었다. 본 발명에 따른 데이터 로거에는 산업용 무선표준인 ISA100.11a 기반의 USN 및 LTE를 지원하는 M2M 단말기 형태의 통신 모드을 구비함으로써 무선 통신이 열악한 지역에서도 원활하게 사용할 수 있는 이점을 가질 수 있게 되었다.
