Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a vacuum insulation material having a chamfered shape in which at least one corner portion is cut, and the method for manufacturing a vacuum insulation material comprises the steps of: spraying a water jet on a core material to chamfer corners of the core material in an oblique direction; inputting the core material into a sheath material and sealing in a vacuum; and folding a wing portion of a corner corresponding to the chamfered portion of the core material among corners of the sheath material to form into a shape corresponding to the chamfered portion of the core material. 본 발명은 적어도 일측 모서리 부분이 잘려진 모따기된 형상을 갖는 진공단열재를 제조하는 진공단열재 제조 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 심재에 워터젯을 분사하여 심재의 모서리 부분을 사선 방향으로 절단하여 모따기 가공하고, 심재를 외피재 내에 투입하고 진공으로 봉지하며, 외피재의 모서리 부분 중 심재의 모따기 가공된 부분과 대응하는 모서리의 날개 부분을 접어서 심재의 모따기 부분과 대응하는 형태로 만드는 것이다.
