The sun visor controlling method includes the steps of: receiving images recorded by one or both of a left camera replacing a left side mirror of a vehicle and a right camera replacing a right side mirror of the camera; extracting images of an area fitting a preset area in the received images; converting the extracted images of the area in accordance with preset rules; outputting the converted images to a display device; receiving an input designating a closed curve from a user through a touch sensor included in the display device; determining an area corresponding to the range of the closed curve received thereto from the converted images in the sun visor area; and controlling the sun visor by adjusting the amount of light passing through the determined area. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 선 바이져 제어 방법은, 차량의 유리창을 통해 투과되는 빛의 양을 조절할 수 있는 선 바이져를 제어하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 차량의 좌측 사이드 미러를 대체한 좌측 카메라 및 상기 차량의 우측 사이드 미러를 대체한 우측 카메라 중 적어도 어느 하나의 카메라에 의하여 촬영된 영상을 수신하는 단계; 상기 수신된 영상 중에서 기 설정된 영역에 부합하는 영역의 영상을 추출하는 단계; 상기 추출된 영역의 영상을 미리 설정된 바에 따라서 변환하는 단계; 상기 변환된 영상을 상기 디스플레이 장치에 출력하는 단계; 상기 디스플레이 장치에 포함된 터치 센서를 통하여 사용자로부터 폐곡선을 지정하는 입력을 수신하는 단계; 상기 선 바이져의 영역 중에서 상기 변환된 영상에서 상기 수신된 폐곡선의 범위에 대응되는 영역을 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 결정된 영역을 통해 투과되는 빛의 양이 변경되도록 상기 선 바이져를 제어하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
