Thereby, the appliances which are in use can be estimated without measuring power usage for each device. S-FHMM을 이용한 비접촉식 기기 부하 식별 방법 및 시스템이 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 비접촉식 부하 식별 방법은, 공급 전력을 계측하고, 전력 변화를 탐지하며, 기기들의 전력 사용 특징들을 참조로 탐지된 전력 변화를 유발한 기기를 추정한다. 이에 의해, 기기 별로 전력 사용을 측정하지 않고도 정확하게 사용 중인 기기들을 추정할 수 있게 된다.
