description The present invention relates to a safety verification service system using a mobile phone and a method thereof. The system according to the present invention includes: a mobile phone of a user; and a server which registers information of the mobile phone, and monitors state information like a usage stage of the mobile phone and a usage amount of a battery in a preset cycle or in case a specific event occurs from the mobile phone, and transmits a verification message to the mobile phone if an unused state of the mobile phone continues to exceed a previously established time, and transmits a notification message as to a current state of the user to a previously registered terminal if a response to the verification message is not received until a constant time passes.
