Zusammenfassung:	A hood hinge for protecting a pedestrian is disclosed. According to the present invention, the hood hinge for protecting a pedestrian comprises: a hood hinge unit connecting a hood of a vehicle to be rotated to a vehicle body; a support stopper unit coming in contact with the hood hinge unit to restrain downward rotation of the hood when the hood is rotated downward; and an impact damping unit elastically supporting the support stopper unit and contracted by an impact force applied to the hood while the hood is closed. 보행자 보호용 후드힌지에 대한 발명이 개시된다. 본 발명의 보행자 보호용 후드힌지는: 차량의 후드를 차체에 회동가능하게 연결하는 후드힌지부와, 후드의 하향 회동 시 후드힌지부와 접하여 후드의 하향 회동을 구속하는 받침스토퍼부와, 받침스토퍼부를 탄성적으로 지지하고, 후드가 닫힌 상태에서 후드에 작용하는 충격력에 의해 수축되는 충격감쇄부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
