Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are an ultrasonic system and a method for classifying targets (more preferably, arteries and veins) and providing target information corresponding to locations of the targets. The ultrasonic system according to the present invention comprises: an ultrasonic probe which operates to transmit an ultrasonic signal to a body including the target, receive an ultrasonic echo signal reflected from the body, and form a reception signal; an ultrasonic data acquiring unit which operates to acquire ultrasonic data corresponding to the target by using the reception signal; a processing unit which forms Doppler data using the ultrasonic data, analyzes the Doppler data to detect the target, and form target information corresponding to the location of the detected target; and a target information providing unit which operates to output the target information.
