MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention provides a transmitting mobile terminal including a wireless communications unit configured to perform data communications with a receiving terminal in a basic transmission method using a relay server through a specific communications network; a user input unit configured to receive at least one alternative transmission method to replace the basic transmission method for the data communications; and a control unit configured to control the data transmission through the specific communications network based on the received at least one alternative transmission method when the data transmission based on the basic transmission method is failed due to a shortage of a data storage space of the relay server. The present invention also provides a receiving mobile terminal including a wireless communications unit configured to perform data communications with a transmitting terminal in a basic reception method using a relay server through a specific communications network; a user input unit configured to receive at least one alternative reception method to replace the basic reception method for the data communications; and a control unit configured to set a transmission method of the relay server for the data through the wireless communications unit such that the transmission method can correspond to any one of the received at least one alternative reception method, and to control so that the data can be received based on the set transmission method of the relay server.
