APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING CARRIER SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY PANEL DEVICE

The present invention relates to a device for separating a carrier substrate for manufacturing a display panel and a method for manufacturing the display panel. The device for separating the carrier substrate for manufacturing the display panel comprises: a first stage to support a bonding substrate which is coupled to the carrier substrate; a second stage which is installed to be spaced apart from the first stage; and a separation tool to adsorb the carrier substrate through an adsorption hole which is formed on the second stage to separate the carrier substrate from the bonding substrate. According to the present invention, the device and the method can prevent a first panel substrate and a second panel substrate from being easily damaged in a manufacturing process even though the first panel substrate and the second panel substrate are formed to have a thin thickness; and be formed to manufacture the slim display panel without using etching liquid, thereby reducing process costs, improving a productivity, and preventing environmental contamination.
