description | Disclosed are a digital certificate system for cloud-computing and a method for providing same. The digital certificate system for cloud-computing described above includes a user DB where an open key of a user is stored; a generation module that generates generation data which includes certificate target data for the certification of the user requesting a service when a service request for the service is received from a terminal of the user; an interface module that receives signed certificate target data from a certification organization system or a predetermined certification server when a signature request including the certificate target data included in the generation data generated by the generation module is transferred from a predetermined certification server to the certification organization system where the certificate of the user is stored through a predetermined certification process performed based on the generation data and signature is performed on the certificate target data by the certification organization system; and a verification module that verifies the received signature certificate target data by using the open key stored in the user DB or determines the presence or absence of the identification by receiving the verified result from the certification server.
