description (Project) The present invention provides a pile knitting method which can stably knit pile knitting portions without depending on additional hardware such as a loop presser or a sinker and the likes. (Solution) Define pile knitting portions in the knitting width direction of a needle bed, and divide a plurality of complex needles to which old stitch (1) is combined inside the pile knitting portion into two or more n number of groups (P1) to (Pn). Select random group (Pm), select k, organize by the complex needles in the group (Pm) using connection thread (7Y), and knit by the complex needles in remaining groups except the group (Pm) (Process α). Tuck by the complex needles in the group (Pm) using pile thread (8Y) and organize a pile loop (5) by the complex needles of the needle bed (FB) which face with a needle bed (BB) which includes the complex needles in the group (Pm) (Process β). Repeat the processes α and β until selected m is disappeared (Process γ). Take out the pile loop (5) from the complex needles (Process δ). In addition, the groups (P1 to Pn) do not include the complex needles which continue more than four towards the width of the organization direction.
