Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A portable optical device is provided to use for military purpose by simplifying an operation, facilitating focal length adjustment and miniaturization. CONSTITUTION: A focal length adjuster(7) includes a rotary member(9), a first moving member(11), a second moving member(13), a first connection link, a second connection link, a third connection link, and a pair of fixing members. The rotary member is perpendicularly arranged and engaged to a body in the optical axis. The first moving member is screw-engaged to a first screw unit of the rotary body. The second moving member is screw-engaged to a second screw unit of the rotary body. The first connection link is engaged with one end of the first moving member through a hinge pin(25). The second connection link is engaged with one end of the second moving member through the other hinge pin. The other end of the first connection link and second connection link is hinge-engaged with a central unit of the third connection link through the hinge pin.
