Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A misfire determination method for preventing mis-sensing the misfire of an engine is provided to prevent arising of mis-sensing a misfire in the situation of achieving a target value of ER without the deduction of a delay of the ignition time or a rich control of an air fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION: A misfire determination method for preventing mis-sensing the misfire of an engine is as follows. In an idling section right after an engine starts, a split injection of fuel and a delay of the ignition time is relieved before being arrived at a counter for a determination of misfire and mis-sensing the misfire is prevented.
