CONSTITUTION: A kit for diagnosing colon cancer contains a nucleotide sequence of C1orf135(chromosome 1 open reading frame 135) gene, a fragment of the nucleotide, a complementary sequence of the nucleotide sequence or fragment, a protein expressed from C1orf135 gene, or a specific binder to the protein. The kit is a microarray for amplifying genes. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating colon cancer contains an inhibitor of C1orf135 gene expression and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
