Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A compact solid state laser is provided to improve the reliability and effectiveness by providing low prices solid state laser. CONSTITUTION: A pump diode laser(1) emits a pump beam(2) of wavelength between 800nm and 900nm for efficient absorption through a gain material(8). An beam optical instrument(3) changes the pump beam to the beam in order to form a circular cross-section with a desirable diameter on the surface(7) of the gain medium. A transparent optical material(6) such as a sapphire, an undoped YVO4, and an undoped YAG has a high thermal conductance to maximize efficiency. The optical material is combined with the gain material. The optical material is operated as a heat sink. A nonlinear crystal(10) is combined with the gain material through the chemically activated direct coupling. |
