Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A VAT refund processing system and a method thereof are provided to reduce the amount of transferred data by excluding the transmission of data necessary for display in the course of obtaining tax type information. CONSTITUTION: A tax type information obtaining unit(150) checks over whether or not tax type corresponding to business registry number is stored at a tax type information DB(120). Unless the tax type is not stored, the tax type information obtaining unit obtains the tax type by accessing a national tax service server(200). A refund information generator(180) generates the refund information for the transaction history.
