Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: Ink jet ink is provided to ensure excellent spread property between colors, and to be used in printing fabric, foil, film, sheet and paper. CONSTITUTION: Ink jet ink comprises modified pigment. The modified pigment has an organic group attached with a substituted or unsubstituted 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid and/or its salt. The substituted or unsubstituted 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid and/or its salt are a compound of chemical formula 1 or 2. In chemical formulas, R is the same or different, and is selected from H, acceptor, donor group, alkyl group or aryl group having the acceptor and donor group, hydrophilic group and/or hydrophobic group; and M^+ is selected from H^+, Na^+, K^+, Li^+, NH4^+, (CH3)3NH^+ and (CH3)4N^+.
