Zusammenfassung:	A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to have a structure of replacing a light emitting diode having defect, thereby reducing costs. One or more light emitting diodes(153) are installed in an inner one side of a bottom cover. The light emitting diode is mounted on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(152). Connectors(191,192) are installed on the printed circuit board. The connector electrically connects the printed circuit board with the light emitting diode. The connector facilitates attachment and detachment of the light emitting diode.
