Zusammenfassung:	Solution casting apparatus and method are provided to improve the productivity by reducing skinning when solution casting is performed for a long time. A solution casting method comprises the steps of providing a casting apparatus including a protrusion having thickness of maximum 9mum and continuously running a support member. A casting film is formed on the support member by discharging dope from an outlet of a slit(53). The dope forms a dope bead between the outlet and the support member. An upstream area from the dope bead is decompressed in the running direction. The casting film is separated from the support member(56). The separated casting film is dried to form a film(58) having thickness of 20mum to 70mum. The film has a width of 1.5m to 3m.
