THE WASTE TRAP FOR THE ODOR PREVENTION

A drain trap for the prevention of offensive odors is provided to heighten satisfaction levels of users by cutting off the inflow of offensive odors of a main drain pipe in the room, and to connect with equipment such as a food waste disposer selectively. A drain trap(100) includes a first connector(110) connected with a lower end of a drain tube(3) connected to the lower part of a sink(2) where used water is drained off, a first drainage area(120) coupled to the lower part of the first connector to drain off the water supplied from the drain tube to a main drain pipe(4) and divided by a partition wall(10) dividing an inner area of a pipe-shaped trap housing(101) in the longitudinal direction, and a second drainage area(130) formed adjacent to the first drainage area and formed on one side of the trap housing by the partition wall, wherein a counterflow prevention member(200) is formed on the lower end of the first connector to prevent the inflow of offensive odors into the room through a main drain pipe, and the counterflow prevention member includes a counterflow prevention pipe(210) having the similar diameter to the diameter of the first drainage area, a rotation plate(220) installed closely to the lower area of the counterflow prevention pipe, rotated in the downward direction by deadweight by water flew in the counterflow prevention pipe via the drain tube, and located closely to the lower part of the counterflow prevention pipe by a hinge part(240) provided to the lower end of the counterflow prevention pipe after draining off water to the main drain pipe, and a spring(230) whose one end is supported to the lower side of the rotation plate elastically and extended via the hinge part, and the other end is supported to the outside of the counterflow prevention pipe to make the rotation plate rotary.
