description A fuel cap capable of being opened/closed automatically is provided to perform easy opening/closing work by one-touch operation, to prevent fuel leakage in a locked state by attaching rubber packing to the fuel cap. A fuel cap(10) capable of being opened/closed automatically comprises a body(10a), a push button shaft(30), a stopper(50) and a push spring. The body includes a containing groove(13) depressed in a lengthwise direction from an upper surface and a locking groove(15) communicated with the containing groove. The push button shaft includes a pushing part formed in an upper part and inserted into the containing groove, an operating part formed in the middle part and depressed, and a compressing part formed in a lower part. The stopper is moved inside the locking hole by the operating part at the time of pushing the pushing part. The push spring is installed to a lower surface of the compressing part toward an inner side of the containing groove.
