description An organic electroluminescent element layer is provided to extract light from first to third organic electroluminescent elements effectively without short-circuit, current leakage or increase of driving voltage by preventing film thickness of an organic compound layer from being excessively large or small. An organic electroluminescent element layer includes a substrate(11), an R element(1R), a G element(1G), and a B element(1B). The R, G, and B elements are arranged on the substrate. The R, G, and B elements sequentially have first electrodes(12), first charge transport layers(131), light emitting layers(132R,132G,132B), second charge transport layers(133), and second electrodes(14R,14G,14B) respectively. The second electrode of the R element has a semi-transparent reflection layer. The first electrode of the R element has a reflection surface. The R element has a resonance structure placed between the reflection surface and the semi-transparent reflection layer. The second electrodes of the G and B elements have transparent layers with light extracting surfaces respectively. The first electrodes of the G and B elements have reflection surfaces respectively. The G and B elements have resonance structure between the reflection surfaces of the first electrodes and the light extracting surfaces of the transparent layers respectively.
