Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method and a device for correcting the signal of a sensor (1) which allow as exact a drift compensation of a characteristic line of the sensor (1) as possible. At least one characteristic value of the signal of the sensor (1) is compared with a reference value. The signal of the sensor (1) is corrected depending on the result of comparison. The invention is characterized by producing a value derived from the signal of the sensor (1) for the at least one characteristic value of the signal of the sensor (1) as the reference value.
