Zusammenfassung: | A separator unit is provided to supply a sufficient amount of gas to an electrode of a fuel cell, to realize a sufficient degree of strength, to allow sufficient cooling of an electrode, and to produce a fuel cell stack in a cost efficient manner. A separator unit is inserted between a fuel cell(10A) and another fuel cell adjacent thereto for stacking fuel cells having an anode(13), a cathode(12) and an electrolyte layer(11), and has a plate-like gas barrier member and a current collector which is inserted between the gas barrier member and the anode or cathode, and has a plurality of openings for gas diffusion. In the separator unit, the current collector(14,15) includes an electrode contact portion formed of a flat sheet-like porous plate that is in contact with the cathode or anode for collecting current, and a gas barrier contact portion forming a gas flow path and comprising a linear body for retaining the electrode contact portion, wherein the gas barrier contact portion has a height smaller than the corresponding diameter of the openings of the electrode contact portion. |
