description | A manufacturing method of an automotive seat rail, which can easily form a steel sheet with high strength, and an automotive seat rail that is manufactured by the manufacturing method, is excellent in strength, and can reduce the weight of the automotive seat rail are provided. A manufacturing method of an automotive seat rail comprises: a step(ST110) of preparing a steel sheet containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of chromium(Cr), molybdenum(Mo), boron(B), vanadium(V) and nickel(Ni); a step(ST120) of forming the steel sheet into a basic form through processes including blanking and piercing; a step(ST130) of heating the steel sheet to a temperature corresponding to an austenite region; a step(ST140) of rapidly transferring the steel sheet to a press mold at a speed within a limit range in which a pearlite, ferrite or bainite phase is not formed; and a step(ST150) of simultaneously quenching the steel sheet within the press mold and forming the steel sheet into an automotive seat rail with a predetermined shape. The manufacturing method further comprises the step(ST160) of tempering the automotive seat rail at a temperature of 150 to 400 deg.C. |
