Zusammenfassung:	A variable nose apparatus for a suction manifold is provided to install a rack gear plate to improve a low speed performance, thereby improving acceleration performance and fuel efficiency of an engine. A variable nose apparatus for a suction manifold includes nose parts(22), a rack gear plate(24), a pinion gear(26), and a step motor(28). The nose parts are installed at both sides of a zip tube(34) to be covered by a housing having a predetermined thickness. The rack gear plate is installed to have a certain length and area sufficient to vary an area of the nose part. The pinion gear is installed in the housing to be reciprocally meshed with the rack gear plate. The step motor is coupled to the pinion gear to be rotated depending on predetermined information of an electronic control unit(38).
