Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A multi type air conditioner is provided to form an orifice in a filter unit for decompressively expanding a part of a refrigerant so that the filter unit acts as an auxiliary expansion device stabilizing throttle performance in case that an orifice opening angle of an electronic expansion valve is low, thereby removing formation of a capillary tube and widely utilizing an inner space of an outdoor unit. An outdoor unit includes a compressor compressing a refrigerant, an outdoor heat exchanger exchanging heat with external air, and an electronic expansion valve decompressively expanding the refrigerant. A plurality of indoor units include indoor heat exchangers exchanging heat with indoor air. The outdoor unit is connected with the plurality of indoor units through refrigerant pipes. The outdoor unit has a filter unit(30) for filtering alien substances included in the refrigerant and decompressively expanding a part of the refrigerant passing through the outdoor unit. An orifice(33a) having a predetermined diameter is installed in the filter unit for decompressively expanding the refrigerant.
